On Thursday, we finally did it! The 85MW power system at United Capital Fertilizer was officially switched ON by the Head of State, His Excellency Mr. Hakainde Hichilema — marking a truly historic moment for our company and for Zambia.
Out of the total capacity, 45MW will be flowing directly into the national grid, strengthening the country’s energy supply, while the remainder powers Zambia’s first-ever Urea Plant — a groundbreaking achievement that showcases our nation’s ability to lead in industrial and agricultural transformation.
This milestone stands as living proof that Zambia is moving forward — with innovation, determination, and unity driving us toward a stronger and more self-reliant future.
