A Christmas to Remember with the Malcom Community
On Christmas Day, United Capital Fertilizer (UCF) chose to celebrate with the people of Malcom Community in Chilanga. As a proud member of this community, we wanted to show our appreciation for our neighbors and friends by sharing in the joy of the festive season.
We were thrilled to welcome over 1,500 community members to our urea synthesis tower, where we distributed Christmas gifts to those in attendance. Each recipient received K100, crisps, and drinks, bringing smiles to the faces of the aged, women, youth, and children.
But that was not all – we also brought some festive cheer to the community with a live performance by the famous Zambian artist, Rich Bizzy! The crowd was electrified as Rich Bizzy took to the stage, performing his hit songs and getting everyone in the mood for celebration.
This special event was more than just a celebration of Christmas; it was a demonstration of our commitment to the Malcom community. We are proud to be a part of this vibrant and resilient community, and we believe that our presence here is not just about doing business, but about being a good neighbor and a responsible corporate citizen.

1. 2km concrete road built by UCF which leads to Malcom Community
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project by United Capital Fertilizer. As part of our commitment to the community, we have completed the construction of a new 2km concrete road that connects to the Malcom community in Chilanga. This project has greatly improved accessibility and enabled smoother transportation for everyone in the area.
Through this CSR initiative, we aim to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of the local residents. The new road will enhance connectivity, making it easier for people to commute, access essential services, and connect with neighboring communities. We believe that improved infrastructure is vital for economic growth, social development, and overall well-being.
