On the very same day we proudly commissioned Zambia’s first-ever Urea Plant, United Capital Fertilizer and Wuhuan Engineering officially signed a landmark $1.4 billion agreement for Phase Two of this transformative project — witnessed by His Excellency, President Hakainde Hichilema.
This milestone marks a major leap in Zambia’s journey toward industrial growth, agricultural self-sufficiency, and economic diversification. The expansion will significantly increase fertilizer production capacity, enhance export potential, and create thousands of jobs and business opportunities for Zambians across multiple sectors.
