United Capital Fertilizer (UCF) is making significant strides in bolstering Zambia’s agricultural sector through the development of a state-of-the-art urea production facility in Chilanga District. This ambitious project, valued at approximately $600 million, is poised to transform the nation’s fertilizer industry and enhance food security. The continuous arrival of large-scale machinery, such as the recent delivery of the 281-tonne Full Condensation Reactor, marks significant milestones toward the plant’s completion. These critical components are integral to the facility’s operations and signify substantial progress in the construction phase, which has now reached 70% completion.

In essence, the integration of these advanced machines into UCF’s urea plant signifies more than just technological progress; it embodies a significant leap toward Zambia’s self-sufficiency in agricultural inputs and a robust step forward in the nation’s industrialization journey.
